BREAKING: Tribunal Declares Natasha Akpoti Winner of Kogi Central

The People’s Democratic Party‘s (PDP) Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has been proclaimed the victor of the Kogi Central Senate race by the Lokoja-based election petition tribunal.

In his decision on Wednesday, Justice K.A. Orjiakoin, the tribunal’s chair, stated that Uduaghan received 54,064 votes, beating out All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Sadiku-Ohere, who received 51,291 votes.

He pleaded with Ohere to provide Akpoti-Uduaghan N500,000 to cover the petition’s expenses.
