Police Arrest Nigerian Singer Portable Over Car Debt

The Lagos State Police Command arrested the controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, on Tuesday for failing to settle a debt related to the purchase of a G-Wagon from a local car dealer.

Reports indicate that Portable paid only N13 million of the N27 million vehicle, withholding the remaining N14 million by claiming the car was defective.

The car dealer reported the issue to the police after repeated attempts to recover the balance were met with Portable’s complaints about the vehicle’s condition. Following an investigation, police officers arrested Portable.
